The daughter of F1 and sports car legend Jacky Ickx, Vanina Ickx has participated in many sports car races across Europe, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Hours of Spa (where she earned her first class victory in 2004). She also entered the Dakar Rally with her father in 2000. More recently, she raced in the FIA GT Championship, where she won one class victory in China, and then moved to the German Touring Car Masters. However, after two mediocre years, she was replaced by ex-Champ Car driver Katherine Legge.
